About Paeroa
The town of Paeroa, New Zealand, is located in the Hauraki District in the Waikato Region. It is just over two hours drive southeast of Auckland. It is best known as the birthplace of the iconic New Zealand soft drink Lemon and Paeroa, or L&P as it is often called. L&P is a lemon-flavoured soft drink initially made with the mineral spring water from Paeroa. It was first produced and sold in New Zealand in the late 1940s. It grew in popularity and is now manufactured by Coca-Cola in Auckland, New Zealand. The drink's history is celebrated with a 13-meter-high replica of a bottle of the popular soda. It is a must-have photo opportunity. Need transport? Call The Coach Company New Zealand!
